Lately, I've been going through last year's photos remembering good not-so-old times. Just taking a look at my work and all the nice times I had with these lovely women. Something I love when I go through old photoshoots is remembering how much I care and love the girls in my photos. I not only love how easy is to work with them, I also love all the laughs, all the jokes, all the not so pretty photos, all the intimate moments I have with them.
For some male friends, their idea of a photoshoot might just be me having a good time, being surrounded by pretty women and being able to watch them change. It's not that, at all. Yes, maybe I have seen a model change her outfit and go all around in her underwear but it's just because there is just so much trust and respect in our relationship. And there is SO MUCH MORE in a photoshoot than the bra of the model, trust me. There is fun, beautiful movements, creepy faces, intimate moments, lots of emotions, creativity taking place, and connection between the model and myself. Beyond all that, is that I'm able not to only work with a good model, I am able to work with a friend. Someone I can truly call friend.
Next year, when I go through this years shoots, I want to have a similar reaction to this year's shoots. I want to smile. I want to see the photos and just remember the good times and how much I care about these women. how I truly care about my friends, my world.
From the bottom of my heart,
Juanfer.
